A/E Design Firm Names Construction Administration Directors

Austin and San Antonio, Texas — The recent leadership transition that will better support O’Connell Robertson’s vision of growth, innovation and enhanced expertise has also led to the promotion of two construction administrators to directors.  Rob Hudock and Jason Reed, both Associates in the Firm, will now serve as Director of Austin Construction Administration and Director of San Antonio Construction Administration, respectively. Kim Cochran, a principal in the Firm who has led the Construction Administration (CA) Department for several years, was recently named Chief Operating Officer.  With Kim’s expanded duties, Hudock and Reed will be responsible for providing oversight for the CA assignments, scheduling, and resources in each office.

Based in the Austin office, Hudock has more than 18 years experience, including eight years with O’Connell Robertson. He has provided construction administration services for a variety of new and renovation construction projects, including the new Success High School in Round Rock ISD, Central Health’s Southeast Health & Wellness Center, the Austin Community College Elgin campus, and the Texas Union renovations on the UT Austin campus. A graduate of The University of Texas at Austin, Hudock was a member of the UT NCAA Championship swim team.

Jason Reed is based in O’Connell Robertson’s San Antonio office. He has more than 18 years experience, including six years with O’Connell Robertson. Some of the notable projects he has worked on include the expansion of Bobcat Stadium for Texas State University, comprehensive renovations to San Antonio College’s Moody Learning Center, the new Kickapoo Traditional Tribe of Texas Health Clinic in Eagle Pass, and the renovation and expansion of Ogden Elementary School in San Antonio ISD. Reed has a Bachelor of Science degree in construction management from the University of Oklahoma.

“Rob’s and Jason’s personal commitment, experience, and ability to work together will elevate the expertise and effectiveness of this critical aspect of our services,” said Cochran. “These promotions will streamline and enhance our processes and service.”
