O’Connell Robertson employees are donating countless hours of their time to provide the Austin Dog Alliance (ADA) with their “Forever Home.” Working in their spare time, they are helping to create a facility where the nonprofit organization can expand its services that connect dogs and humans to improve health and wellbeing.

On May 4, O’Connell Robertson employees demonstrated their belief in higher education and their support of Texas students by wearing their favorite college shirts to work as part of the second annual GenTX Day. The event, organized by Generation TX, is intended to involve business and community leaders in showing their support for building a college-going culture that encourages Texas students to pursue career and technical training and two- and four-year degrees.

O’Connell Robertson was one of only 10 architectural firms in the nation and the only Texas firm to be recognized with a 2011-2014 Intern Development Program (IDP) Firm Award from the Intern Development Program Advisory Committee (IDPAC), a group that advises the American Institute of Architects (AIA) and the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB).

San Antonio College's (SAC) EcoCentro has been selected as the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE) 2012 Sustainability Project. The designation provides EcoCentro with a $20,000 grant and commemorates ASHRAE’s 2012 national convention in San Antonio.
