Marketing Director – Austin, Texas

O’Connell Robertson is looking for a Marketing Director to provide strategic planning, direction and support for the Firm’s marketing plan, communications and public relations. The position requires a professional with the ability to identify market trends and opportunities in the A/E/C industry and develop and support a strategic marketing plan to pursue such opportunities. The Marketing Director will work with Firm Principals and marketing/business development staff to develop a program and deliverables that communicate the Firm’s brand and unique qualifications to ensure maximum exposure to new and existing business prospects. Applicants should have a strong understanding of the proposal development and interview process. Minimum 7-10 years experience in marketing and communications. Experience in the A/E/C industry preferred. The candidate must thrive in a “team environment”, and work collaboratively with our firm’s integrated engineers and architects. This is a great opportunity for an engineer to develop more experience in HVAC building system designs, and into project management. Project Architect – San Antonio, Texas

Project Architect – Austin, Texas

Licensed as a registered Architect in the State of Texas, with a minimum of 5 years of practice and experience in educational facilities and including preparation of presentation materials.  Individual shall have a demonstrated ability in project architect responsibilities and a diversified knowledge of architectural principles and practices.

Responsibilities of this position include:

  • Plan, direct and supervise the architectural team members and coordinate consultant responsibilities of studies, design or construction documents of various scale projects.
  • Support a project’s continued development of design concepts through all phases of design.
  • Interpret, organize, execute and coordinate the development of individual or multiple projects.
  • Have effective verbal, graphic, and written communication supporting, positive, long-term relationships.
  • Must be quality-minded and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple, constantly-shifting priorities against strict deadlines
  • Candidate is preferred to have experience and proficiency with Higher Education facilities, sustainability standards, Revit, and Office Suite

Project Manager / Architect – Austin, Texas

O’Connell Robertson has the opportunity for a Project Manager/Architect with at least 10 years of experience to join our team.  Responsibilities will focus on educational facilities, and individuals shall have a demonstrated ability for drawing, sketching and preparation of design and technical materials.

Job Requirements and Qualifications will include:

  • Develop and maintain effective verbal, graphic, and written communication with clients that support, positive, long-term relationships.
  • Assist in the creation and continued development of design concepts through all phases of design.
  • Interpret, organize, execute and coordinate the development of individual or multiple projects, maintaining fiscal oversight to achieve profitability and financial goals of the firm.
  • Plan, direct and supervise the architectural team members and coordinate consultant responsibilities of studies, design or construction documents of various scale projects.
  • Must be quality-minded and self-motivated.
  • Candidate is preferred to have experience and proficiency with K-12 Educational Facilities, sustainability standards, Revit/Sketchup, Adobe Suite, and Office Suite

BIM Manager – Austin, Texas

In addition to excellent leadership, management and communication skills, candidates should have the following qualifications:

  • Minimum of 6 years of AEC professional experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of Revit experience
  • Expert skills required in current versions of Revit, AutoCAD, MS Office, Navisworks, and Photoshop
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
